Control Message

I want to set up a new newsgroup, but I need to send a control message. Can
Fidolook do that?

I was trying to set up a newsgroup and in the "how-to" you have to send a
control message to alt.conig in order to get it out there. It suggested
Xnews, but I use Fidolook.

Hum... it seems that you should get a subscription to that group, then
choose it and create a message in it. No?

No. I want to create a group that does not exsist yet. You know, in the
beginning there was the void then someone decided to create
gmane.network.fidolook. There is some processes that occurs to make that
happen. The most important seems to be to make a control message and send
it to this alt.config.

gmane.network.fidolook is NOT a newsgroup. It's a usual mailing list, mapped
to the NNTP protocol using the GMANE service. You should contact GMane
admins if you want to create your own mapping.

If you wanna create a "group" at GMane, you need to send a e-mail to the
special e-mail address, not via the NNTP protocol. Otherwise you should
concretize your task.
