Now that I have Fidolook up and running it views single part file fine. the
yenc decode is enabled however it is not working, so when I try to combine a
multi part file encoded in yenc all of the files now have a ".0001" or ".0002"
after the file extention

example jimscream.mp3.0001

when the combine and decode function is selected for a group of files they are
not decoded.

I am very new to this stuff. so if anyone could tell me what I am doing wrong
I would appreciate it.

thank you

Shawn Erickson.

I have this same problem. Single file yenc work fine, but multipart just
creates multiple unreadable files.

I have recently found that BLjoin will allow you to join the unreadable
files to the original file.
I now use the combine and decode to get the list of individual partitions of
the files. I then select the save all function by right click on one of the
attachments. Save them to a folder then combine them using BL Join, from
that folder. It is a very simple program.

It is not as easy as it used to be with yproxy but it does get the job done.
